Wine Tasting: Mas Carlot Costieres de Nimes

Name: Mas Carlot Costieres de Nimes
Varietal: 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre
Region: Rhone Valley
Country: France
Year: 2016
Price: $4.95
Tasting Notes: "This mouthwatering rosé is a traditional blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. It's medium-bodies, boasting notes of fresh herbs, cherries and white chocolate, balanced by hints of sea spray. Drink it over the next year."
My Review: This wine did not have a strong smell, however, the fragrance that I could detect was sweet and smelled like candy. This wine had an acidic taste and left a dry mouthfeel. I could detect hints of orange, lemon, and the taste of the grape was very strong as well. I did not taste this wine with food.
